IIP - Global Digital Accessibility Site Design
Project Overview
The primary purpose of this project was to design and enhance key individual pages (specifically the Homepage, Policies Page, and Training Page) to serve as a comprehensive, user-friendly, and accessible digital hub for all accessibility-related information, resources, policies, and training materials within the organization.
Role
UI/UX Design Intern – Responsible for designing intuitive navigation, enhancing visual appeal, and ensuring content clarity across the site's key pages.
Problem Identified
Employees within the organization struggled to efficiently locate and access comprehensive, up-to-date digital accessibility policies, guidelines, and training resources, leading to inconsistent application of accessibility standards and potential compliance risks.

The target audience for this Accessibility Site is broad, encompassing various roles and levels within the organization who interact with digital content and products such as :

Goals & Objectives
To establish the Global Digital Accessibility Division Site Design as the utilized central source for all accessibility knowledge and tools within the organization
Improve Information Architecture (IA) & Navigation: Organize complex policies, training materials, and team information into a clear, logical, and easy-to-navigate structure across the homepage, policies, and training pages.
Enhance User Engagement: Present content in an engaging and digestible manner- Facilitate Self-Service and Support: Provide easy access to FAQs and a feedback mechanism, empowering users to find answers independently and contribute to ongoing improvements.

Digital Accessibility Standards and Principles: I learnt about fostering an inclusive digital space and creating accessible digital content and platforms for people of all abilities
Content Organization for Accessibility: I learned to meticulously organize complex information, such as global policies, standards, procedures, and various training resources, into clear, navigable sections.
UX/UI for Compliance and Usability: You gained an understanding of how accessible, user-centered design strengthens security, ensures regulatory compliance, and expands usability for all users.
